Life Saver Pool Fence of the Lowcountry: Keeping Children in South Carolina Safe From Drownings
At Life Saver Pool Fence of the Low Country, our goal is to spread awareness that drowning is preventable and to help do our part to end child drowning accidents in South Carolina. Drowning is the #1 cause of accidental death for children between the ages of one to four, and it can be devastating. So we have partnered with the industry leader in pool protection, – Life Saver Pool Fence – to offer the best barrier to help prevent children from accessing pools. In addition, we take the time to educate Parents about ‘Layers of Protection’ and pool safety, because it is one of the most important things we can do in our community.
We are fully licensed, insured, and have had extensive training at the Life Saver Pool Fence corporate headquarters. We are family owned and install every fence ourselves to ensure 100% quality installations. There is even a pool safety evaluation form you can find on our website to help you improve safety starting today. We truly believe peace of mind is priceless when it comes to children’s safety.
About the Owner, Craig Hoover

Owner Craig Hoover is no stranger to the importance of pool safety. When his sons were 2 and 4, they moved to a new home with a pool. Immediately, the kids were enrolled in Infant Swim Resource life-saving swimming instruction. However, he knew that would not be enough to protect his own family or other children who may venture into his yard. His research found that Life Saver Pool Fence was the industry leader when it came to pool safety fences. And since there wasn’t a dealer in his direct area, he decided to take it one step further and bring Life Saver Pool Fence to the Lowcountry.
Since 2019, Craig has been making South Carolina homes even safer by installing the best removable fence on the market. No matter what time of the year it is, he advocates for pool safety in your home which begins with installing the same pool fence Craig entrusts his own family to.
“I am very excited about the partnership I have formed with Life Saver Pool Fence Systems. It has provided me the opportunity to change families’ lives and give them peace of mind when it comes to pool safety. I treat every job as if I were installing it on my pool for my kids. I value time, communication and quality workmanship.” – Craig Hoover
Other layers of protection Craig recommends having installed in your home are:
- Constant adult supervision (with no cell phone in hand)
- Alarms on all doors and windows that open to the water
- Survival swim lessons such as ISR, then basic swim education
- A barrier around the yard
- Having all adults learn CPR
- Wear a Coast Guard-approved life jackets
